If you are looking for a fun activity for the entire family, including your youngest members, and want to get outdoors and up close with birds of prey, our Family Falconry experience is for you! 


What to Expect

Our Family Falconry experience was designed with families who have young children in mind! We start the session in our flying field, where your family joins us to watch our Lanner Falcon and our Harris Hawk as they demonstrate their aerial mastery! The birds will swoop right past your family as you learn about the species' unique characteristics and how they fly.

Spend the rest of your time with us visiting with the birds and exploring our hands-on table! Feel a bird's wing as you learn about how birds fly, explore what an owl ate, see how heavy these birds can be and more!

Good things to know about our Family Falconry Experience

• Family Falconry experiences run 6 days a week, from Wednesday to Monday. 

  • Seasonal availability from April (weather permitting) to November ​

• Payment is due in advance for the Family Falconry Experience to reserve your date.

• There is no handling of the birds of prey during this experience.

• Maximum group size of 10 individuals. Group discounts are applied to groups of 6+ participants.

• Photos and questions are welcome through the entire session.

• Due to their outdoor nature, our experiences are weather dependent. We will contact you in the evening prior to your experience day to notify you of the possibility of rescheduling to your back-up date. 

• Wear clothing suitable to the weather on the day of your experience as we are outdoors. Bug spray and sunscreen are highly recommended through the summer months.

• Please note, we have a booking and cancellation policy.
